Dear Valued Customers:
In our efforts to better
serve our customers, we constantly evaluate the performance of our
products in real- life situations. We then make adjustments to either
our products or our use instructions accordingly. Recently, it has
come to our attention that some users, especially those experienced
with tube ink, are rolling the fingers too fast across the application
pad. The resulting prints are too light for classification. A longer
contact time with the pad, not more pressure on the pad, will alleviate
this problem. By slowing the roll, while maintaining a moderate
pressure on the pad, more solution will be applied to the fingertip,
thus producing a darker, but still clear, image.
Also important to remember:
The FBI does not accept red fingerprint images. Undeveloped prints
will be returned to you. If your prints are not completely black
after a development cycle, change the yellow developer sheet and
run the card through another development cycle.
Sincerely,
Customer Service
Identicator, Inc.
